The Dancing Bears
The Bears are known for playing a mix of traditional and swing tunes.
Skip Methany plays fretless bass and is well known in the Asheville area as a fine percussionist as well
John Culp plays mandolin, bouzouki and bodhran. He is married to Barbara our resident caller but he can play with us anyway. What a great guy.
Mark Langer built the guitar his plays. His forte is swing guitar and chord chicanery.
Lew Gelfond Lew plays fiddle in the traditions with a soaring swing flair.
Barbara Groh our resident caller making the dancing a beautiful thing.
